Registered Nutritional Therapist Ximena de la Serna is our interview guest today in Episode 1410 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show.”
Ximena is a Nutritional Therapist and Digital Entrepreneur from Colombia and based in the UK. At age 13 she was diagnosed with PCOS and her health began to plummet. The ‘solution’ she was given: take the pill and carry on. Little she knew her early life experiences and nutrition got her there and it could actually be fixed without drugs. Coming from a family of doctors and always interested in human performance from an early age, Ximena started investigating. Her focus on genetics, female hormones and nutrition got her studying Nutritional Therapy in the following years. During her 30s, 7 months into the LCHF lifestyle, she was clear of PCOS after two decades of suffering, to her doctors' astonishment. Today she runs XimenadelaSerna.com and FunctionalFemaleForce.com where she's devoted to empowering the Hispanic woman to take charge and chase their dreams and desires while overcoming PCOS, diabetes, hormonal imbalances and optimizing their DNA expression. She also teaches the scientific fertility method that helps any woman be in control and achieve optimal fertility health without drugs.
