A new study published in the August 11, 2020 edition of The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition claims that consuming at least two servings of plant-based meat a day will lower your cardiovascular risk factors as compared with the same amount of red meat. The 16-week randomized crossover study funded by the Beyond Meat company was conducted by Stanford researcher Dr. Christopher Gardner and his team. ⁣
