In Episode 1680 of Jimmy Rants on the LLVLC Show, we take an honest look at the SWAP-MEAT Study.
“They even admit that they got skewed results due to the way they conducted the study.”
- Jimmy Moore
A new study published in the August
11, 2020 edition of The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition
claims that consuming at least two servings of plant-based meat a
day will lower your cardiovascular risk factors as compared with
the same amount of red meat. The 16-week randomized crossover study
funded by the Beyond Meat company was conducted by Stanford
researcher Dr. Christopher Gardner and his team.
But there are some major flaws in this study that I can’t let slip by. In this episode of JIMMY RANTS on The LLVLC Show, I pour over the study design and results of this research finding major flaws that bring into question why this ever got published to begin with. Listen in for full details!
